Alabama Baseball Ticket Sales Begin

Season tickets for the 2012 University of Alabama baseball season are available now, with ticket prices beginning at $60 for the 31-game Crimson Tide home schedule. The season begins on Friday, Feb. 17 against Florida Atlantic at Sewell-Thomas Stadium, with first pitch scheduled for 6:05 p.m.

Alabama has one of the best baseball ticket values in the Southeastern Conference. All chair back seats will be $125 for the season - a cost of just four dollars per game. Additionally, all reserved bleacher seats will be general admission, at a fan-friendly price of $75 ($2.41 per game). Senior citizen prices are $65 for both chair back and general admission.

Third-year head coach Mitch Gaspard and his staff of former Alabama All-Americans Dax Norris and Andy Phillips, look forward to an exciting season of Alabama baseball in 2012. The Crimson Tide return 22 players and seven starters from last year's NCAA tournament squad.

Highlighting the 2012 home schedule are SEC series against Mississippi, Mississippi State, Auburn, Vanderbilt and Georgia. Additionally, the Tide will host non-conference series against Florida Atlantic and Arkansas-Pine Bluff, and host the DRASH Alabama Baseball Classic that includes Louisville, Oral Roberts and East Carolina in doubleheader action on March 9-11. Alabama will also host mid-week games against South Alabama, Southern Mississippi, Samford, UAB and Troy.

Promotions that will run throughout the season include Moe's Southwest Grill 2 for Tuesdays, where fans can purchase to baskets of Moe's Nachos for the price of one and Sundays are Kids Day at "The Joe", and Sundays are All Kids Day at the Park, where kids 12 and under are admitted free of charge and can run the bases following the game.
