Bone's Best: Jalen Whitlow

Andrew Bone provides a closer look at the Top 60 players in the state of Alabama in the class of 2012 post-season. We're counting down each day this week until the complete list is released Christmas Day.

31. Jalen Whitlow three-star
No. 53 Quarterback
Prattville High School
6-foot-3, 200-pounds

Did you know: Whitlow accounted for more than 30 touchdowns during the 2011 season while splitting time at quarterback with Georgia Tech commitment Justin Thomas. He helped Prattville win the Class 6A state title.

Recruitment: Whitlow de-committed from Arkansas State after Hugh Freeze accepted the head coaching job at Ole Miss. Whitlow plans to visit the Rebels in January. Gus Malzahn, now head coach of Arkansas State, is also very interested in Whitlow. Several other schools have started showing heavy interest including Tennessee and Florida State.
