Did you know: Core had 24 receptions for 610 yards with eight touchdowns; rushed for 139 yards on 11 carries with two touchdowns. He played defensive back in the last four games with 23 solo tackles, eight assists and three interceptions. Core helped the Tigers finish 8-2 the last two seasons. Core's father, Thad Core, played football at Troy University.

Recruitment: Core gave an early commitment to Troy. Kentucky recently offered a scholarship, and he will likely end up in the SEC for his college career.
