Alabama hosting visitors

Alabama hosting visitors

The Alabama coaching staff will welcome in several big visitors this weekend. The majority of prospects arriving are taking official visits including a couple of National 100 recruits who are committed elsewhere. Andrew Bone takes a look at who has confirmed for this weekend.

Jameis Winston
The current Florida State commitment and five-star quarterback from Hueytown, Ala., plans to take an official visit to Alabama this weekend. Winston had an in-home visit with head coach Nick Saban and Sal Sunseri on Monday. Winston visited Tuscaloosa twice during the season and has continued to stay in contact with the coaching staff.

Winston's family is also joining him on the visit to Tuscaloosa. Winston did not take any visits to Tallahassee this past season.

T.J. Yeldon
The National 100 running back, from Daphne, Ala., is an Auburn commitment who graduates this month. He will visit along with teammate Ryan Anderson (unofficial visitor) who is an Alabama commitment.

Yeldon welcomed Alabama head coach Nick Saban and Jeremy Pruitt for an in-home visit Tuesday night. The chances of Yeldon flipping his commitment are slim, but Alabama will make their best pitch this weekend.

The University of Alabama will also have several of their top committed players in town. Reggie Ragland, five-star linebacker from Madison-Bob Jones, Ala., Tyler Hayes, four-star linebacker from Thomasville, Ala., and Eddie Williams, National 100 safety from Panama City Beach-Arnold, Fla.

These are the only official visitors who have been confirmed. There is a chance another recruit or two will take their official visit to Alabama this weekend, and we will know if they arrive on campus.

Here is a quick look at prospects who have already taken their official visits to Alabama.

Eddie Goldman, Landon Collins, Jordan Jenkins, Cyrus Jones, Arik Armstead, Travell Dixon, Avery Young, Amari Cooper, Barry Sanders, Chris Black, Kurt Freitag, Deon Bush, Ryan Anderson, Dillon Lee, Noor Davis.
