The Crimson Tide snagged one of the fastest defensive backs in the state of Florida for the 2013 class.

Artie Burns, from Miami-Northwestern, Fla., is considered one of the fastest defensive backs in the Sunshine State and well known as a track star. Teammate Amari Cooper is a Tide commitment in the class of 2012.
