The University of Alabama is enjoying success in the Sunshine State. The trend continued with the commitment of National 100 wide receiver Chris Black from Jacksonville-First Coast, Fla. Black is an early enrollee and will arrive in January. Mid-season senior highlights of the top receiver in Florida are featured.

Chris Black has been frustrated at times this season. It’s not easy being labeled the top receiver and having a target on your back.

Black has made spectacular catches when given a chance. He is very dangerous in open space especially in the return game. He makes plays on reverses and can score from anywhere on the field.

Black is an explosive player. He will snag the ball at it’s highest point, catches the ball with his hands and makes plays after the catch.
