ScoutTV: Justin Thomas
Posted Aug 29, 2011

Justin Thomas, quarterback and Tide commitment from Prattville, Ala., displayed his speed in a nationally televised game Saturday against St. Thomas Aquinas. The Lions came up short in the contest, 34-31.

Justin Thomas may have been wearing a brace on his right knee, but the University of Alabama commitment appeared faster than this time a year ago. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound signal caller split reps with Arkansas State commitment, Jalen Whitlow, throughout the game. Thomas passed for 92 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for an additional 139 yards.

Thomas is one of the best athletes in the Southeast. He is fast, quick and hard to tackle. He is a threat anytime the ball is in his hands. Thomas will likely move to wide receiver or possibly defensive back on the next level. He can also become a threat in the 'Wildcat' formation.
