Green Continues Good Play For USA

SHENZHEN, China – University of Alabama forward JaMychal Green scored a team-high 21 points to lead USA Basketball to a 124-64 win over Finland on Wednesday at the World University Games.



JaMychal Green's 21 points game in just 15 minutes of action on 6-of-7 shooting from the field and an 8-of-10 performance from the free-throw line. The upcoming Alabama senior also added six rebounds, five of them on offense, with an assist. He was one of five players in double figures as the squad shot 57 percent from the field and got to the free-throw line 41 times.

The win improves USA Basketball to 4-0 at the World University Games heading into the final game of pool play against Israel on Thursday. The medal quarterfinal round then begins on Saturday.

Green and USA Basketball will tip off against Israel at 2:30 a.m. CDT Thursday.
