Big names coming and going

The University of Alabama is looking to impress recruits this week. Some players have already been on the campus while others will arrive at a different day this week. Andrew Bone has the latest news...


Chris Black, National 100 wide receiver from Jacksonville-First Coast, Fla., visited Alabama on Sunday. He was in Auburn on Saturday. Black's decision is set for August 24. Black said of Alabama, "Everything went great." Black goes more in-depth in an interview which will post later Monday. Alabama and Florida State remain at the top of his list.

Beniquez Brown, four-star outside linebackr from Florence, Ala., arrived in Tuscaloosa on Sunday. He was expected to stay for one day, but informed Scout.com he will remain until Tuesday. Alabama leads for his signature.

Greyson Lambert, four-star from Jesup-Wayne County, Ga., hopes to impress the coaching staff demonstrating his full recovery from a broken leg. He camped at LSU on Sunday and will arrive in Tuscaloosa Tuesday to work out with the Tide.

Jeremy Liggins, three-star from Oxford-Lafayette, Miss., is at the LSU camp. He is expected to remain in Baton Rouge until Tuesday.

Danny O'Brien, four-star defensive tackle from Flint-Powers Catholic, Mich., plans to visit Alabama this week. He will camp at Tennessee on Tuesday. He is expected to take an unofficial trip to Alabama on Wednesday.

Travell Dixon, four-star from Thatcher-Arizona Western and Jordan Jenkins, four-star defensive end from Hamilton-Harris County, Ga., arrived at Alabama Sunday and expected to remain until Wednesday.

Eddie Goldman, five-star defensive tackle, arrives on the Tide' campus on Monday for his second unofficial visit. Alabama is among his top 10 schools with the Tide expected to make his short list.

Dalton Santos, four-star middle linebacker from Van High School in Texas, is scheduled to visit Alabama this week. The former Oklahoma State commitment plans to announce his college decision in August. He recently named favorites as Alabama, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas A&M.
