Tuscaloosa REC Donates To Fund

The Red Elephant Club of Tuscaloosa has made a donation of $5,000 to the Acts of Kindness Fund, established by University of Alabama President Dr. Robert E. Witt to aid students, faculty, and staff affected by the tornado of April 27.

The Tuscaloosa Red Elephant Club, one of 12 such organizations, is in its fourth year.

Red Elephant Clubs are composed of individuals who support The University of Alabama football program through donations to assist with funding football scholarships.

Alabama Athletics Director Mal Moore supported the Tuscaloosa Red Elephant Club’s donation to the Acts of Kindness Fund.

Donations to the Acts of Kindness Fund may be made to President’s Office, University of Alabama, P.O. Box 870100, Tuscaloosa AL 35487.
