Posted Jul 4, 2011

Andrew Bone takes a closer look at the Top 60 players in the state of Alabama prior to the 2011 season.

56. Willie Curry
Running Back
Enterprise High School
5-foot-8, 185

2010 stats: Curry rushed for more than 1,200 yards and 16 touchdowns while playing last season with an injured shoulder.

Recruitment: Curry has a scholarship offer from Air Force and other schools eager to see him perform this fall. He attended Junior Day at Auburn and Georgia Tech.

Curry says, "I think I have good vision. I have been a running back for so long. I am faster than most guys. I can breakaway in the open field. I see myself as a leader. I push my guys, and they push me. I want to get faster. I would like to get taller, but definitely get bigger and faster. I would like to put up more numbers as a kick returner."
