Posted Jul 4, 2011

Andrew Bone takes a closer look at the Top 60 players in the state of Alabama prior to the 2011 season.

55. Fudge Van Hooser
Wide Receiver
Trinity Presbyterian (Montgomery)
6-foot-2, 185

2010 stats: Van Hooser played receiver during his junior season with 400 total yards, but missed a few games due to a back injury.

Recruitment: Tulane commitment

Van Hooser says, "I think my biggest strength is my combination of speed and strength. I am not the biggest guy in the world. I have my 40 down to a 4.3. That is what I ran at the Army combine. I am now benching 340-pounds. The combination of speed and power I think is my biggest strength this year."
