Recruitment: Vason's recruitment took flight during the spring when he collected scholarship offers from Arkansas State, Florida International, Memphis, Northern Illinois and Southern Miss, but it was to Wake Forest where he pledged his commitment this summer.

Vason tells Scout.com of his commitment to Wake Forest, "Wake is a pretty nice place- they’ve got a nice football team and a good education."
