2010 stats: Harper had 90 tackles, 10 sacks, five forced fumbles and one interception.

Recruitment: Harper transferred to Carver from Jackson-Olin in Birmingham during the spring. Coaches starting seeing film and visiting during spring evaluations. He quickly picked up double-digit scholarship offers. He doesn't list any favorites, but he will take official visits to Arkansas, Tennessee and Vanderbilt. All three SEC schools have offered.

Harper says, "Playing in SEC is big to me. I know the other conferences are great, but the SEC I don't see how I can pass up an opportuinity like that."
