Posted Jul 4, 2011

Andrew Bone provides a closer look at the Top 60 players in the state of Alabama prior to the 2011 season.

14. Cassanova McKinzy four-star
No. 7 middle linebacker
Woodlawn High School (Birmingham)
6-foot-3, 233-pounds

2010 stats (seven games): McKinzy had 98 tackles, 10 sacks and six forced fumbles.

Recruitment: McKinzy committed to Auburn in March with other scholarship offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson, Florida State, Kansas and UAB. He remains committed, but plans to visit South Carolina, Clemson, Florida State and Miami.

McKinzy says, "Each school has something special and different about that campus and community. I want to learn about each one. Everyone says, 'every school is the same.' I want to learn for myself how the fans and alumni are different at each school."
