Why Alabama: "I knew Alabama was always the right place for me. I like all the people there. The coaches kept in touch with me in junior college. I knew I was going there. I like the coaching staff a lot. Coach Saban is a great coach. I like where the program is at right now. Everything about Alabama is great. I love the facilities and the stadium."

Strengths/Improvements: "I felt like I had a pretty good year. There is always room for improvement. I am trying to get better everyday. I wasn't in good shape when I first arrived in junior college. I worked hard to get in the shape I am in now."

Scout.com says: Always a big kid. Dial has really made strides with his agility and conditioning since his high school days. A player I once pegged as direct to offensive guard now routinely hurdles guards as he charges down the line of scrimmage to cut off a running back going off tackle. Dial must still work on keeping his pads low when he's occupying a double team, but he has a lot of the right tools for the defensive line.
